I usually us the interview to discuss the characteristics of a good tutor (e.g. patience), and the stress levels of tutees who are struggling with tech. I emphasize that good tutors provide questions, not necessarily answers. The need for reliability is good to mention. And also that we can adjust a tutor’s schedule around mid-terms and final exams (school comes first!).

Campus Experience Questions
- Introduction: your current location, pursuing Major, which year in Academic year
- Have you taken Technology Basics? -When?
- (If answer is yes) State 1 useful thing you learned from TECH 101 class
- Have you taken any online courses from IAIA? Which course, and what was your experience like?
- Have you visited and utilized Learning Lab on Campus before? For what purpose, and what was your experience like?
Technology Questions
- How familiar are you with Microsoft Word, excel?
- How familiar are you with any Adobe Creative Cloud apps?
- Have you helped anyone (friends,relatives, etc.) with technology? What was your most recent experience like?
- If you were to be a student visiting a tech tutor, what would you expect from a tech tutor?
- How patient are you with technology in general? (1-10; 1-can be very inpatient to 10 incredibly patient)
