Ask HR about what auditors require for “wet signatures”.
Phase 1 - Get Faculty familiar with digital signatures
Ali wrote later on Friday…
Quick update: I just returned from a meeting with Aimee and she said basically shared same thing as Elizabeth had earlier today. However, she suggested using Dropbox signature software (HelloSign), since IAIA has an account with Dropbox and using their software may reduce costs.
I mentioned that we currently have the Miniextensions account, which utilizes eSignatures.io (that it meets Federal esignature legality standards). Aimee agreed this might work best, especially if it is a less-expensive subscription/purchase.
In other words, as far as I was told, there are no specific criteria regarding esignatures for the Audit (both Finance and HR require digital signatures to be "authorized").
Moving forward on PARs, let's do what's easiest! I figure that's Miniextensions?
Subscription-Based Pricing
: Many digital signature providers offer subscription-based pricing models. This typically involves paying a monthly or annual fee per user or per document sent for signature. The cost may vary based on the features included in each subscription tier.
Pay-Per-Use Pricing
: Some providers offer pay-per-use pricing models where users are charged based on the number of documents they send for signature or the number of signatures collected. This can be a cost-effective option for organizations with occasional or fluctuating signature needs.
Enterprise/Custom Pricing
: For larger organizations such as colleges or universities, digital signature providers may offer custom pricing tailored to the institution's specific requirements. This can include volume discounts, special features, or enterprise-level support.
