How the Application Process Works

  1. Student application is sent to the Financial Aid Director to confirm eligibility
  2. If eligible, the Department/Program Supervisor is notified so interview(s) can be conducted
  3. If student is offered the position, the Supervisor will inform the Human Resources Department
  4. HR will set up the student in the Paylocity system (where work hours are entered)
  5. Off-campus students are required to have a background check complete to have a work-study job. Background checks are paid for by the hiring department
  6. IMPORTANT: HR will notify the Supervisor and the student of their start date - STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WORK UNTIL HR GIVES THE GO-AHEAD
